This is a large 38 acre campground. This was our first time visiting. The site was level, good power, water pressure was great and yes, cable (79 ch.) was available to all campsites. The pool was very clean and they have a very nicely stocked store. The owners and employee's were very friendly. The landscaping was great. A Winn-Dixie was a short distance down the road and a strip mall. We will stay here again.

We have stayed at this campground over a dozen times. The Manager is very accommodating with any of your needs. This campground is quiet and peaceful. No interstate noise at all. They have good power and water pressure. Asphalt slabs for parking and a spotless pool.

This past weekend was our first visit here. We stayed in site 51 in the "Preserve" portion of the campground. This area is for class 'A' coaches only. They are selling the lots or you can rent, as we did. The site was great. Full large concrete pad, cable, 50amp electric, and good water pressure. This campground pretty much as it all. Work out facility, laundry, and two club houses. On site restaurant and small trading store. The folks were very nice and they did not "have a baby" when we asked about a late check out (1 to 2 pm) nor did they ask for more $$$. The other large section of the park has it all, pull behinds, 5th wheels, etc... The entire area is kept nice and clean. This park is just outside of Silver Springs and the Ocala area. We will be back, especially since they honor Passport America year round...

Overall, nice campground. The flee market was nice to walk to. One exit south of the campground is Duval Rd. (Same as Jax. Airport) had plenty of shopping including a super Wal-Mart. The power, electric, water and cable reception was good. The sounds of freedom did not bother us... The Interstate noise was not bad at all. This park is good for short stays or overnighters. We will stay here again...

We camped here for a week. The site was level, layered stone with full hook ups. The power was 120 plus the entire stay. The water pressure was good and the cable clear. We stayed on the lake front in site #336. Our roof mounted satellite worked fine so long as the wind did not blow too much. There are very few sites w/satellite access. Be sure to ask at the office, careful though, when I asked, the lady said, "oh, one of those". All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Also, there are "several" grocery stores in the area. If you take "Bus 278" and not "278", you don't have to pay toll to get on and leave the island...

This was our 2nd stay at this location... It was as good or better than the 1st... Pull-through sites are now open... Concrete pads with an apron for sitting... 30 & 50 amps @ each site with clear cable and water... Nice spacing between all sites and the owners really love to help with anything you might need... We WILL be back... Can't wait to see the new pool... P.S. The only reason not a 10, the resort is not complete reference the construction...

This campground just changed over to a KOA two months ago. It's former name was, Town & Country RV park. If your rig is over 40', you may want to reconsider this place. It was a little tight for our 36'. The power was good. The water pressure was low and the road noise was very bad. This CG sits next to US-92 and a side rode that has a very large flee market. The spot was OK. The concrete pad was very old and broken up with ants all over. The sewer wanted to back up when I was dumping. Give this place a few more months, maybe it will be at KOA standards by then...

We stayed for 3 days with a rally. Overall good experience. No pads or picnic table, but power was ok (Stayed around 110 to 115). Water pressure was good. Biggest drawback was the sewer. They do not have a pumping station. They are on old fashion gravity fed sewer. Was full when we attempted to dump. Overall, good overnighter and for small groups...

We just returned from a 2 week stay. This was our 3rd Outdoor Resort campground we have stayed at. The site was concrete paved with full hook ups. Power, water and cable were great. We attended a pot-luck dinner and a RV dealership hosted BBQ. Both were great food. The only draw back to this campground is not being an owner. If you rent, folks tend to not associate with you. Everyone was friendly, but a little too snobby for me. Unless your coach was worth 500K plus, you don't fit in... The route suggested to get here is correct coming from the west. However, Hwy 64 coming from the east was not really all that bad. From the east there were no switch-backs just 3 to 4 miles of sharpe curves. Everyone in the area is use to waiting behind you. For no other real reason, we will probably not return again. 2 weeks were plenty of time to explore this area...

This was our 2nd visit to this campground. We found everything and everyone very friendly. The site was paved with a small concrete patio next to the entry door. The power, water and cable worked great. The road noise from the interstate was not very bad. This is a great place for a day or two lay over. There is an RV dealership on the property. We will stay here again...

By far, this was the nicest park we have stayed at thus far. It was half the price of Fort Wilderness and has the best of everything. The only reason it didn't get a "10", was half the park was closed for construction. The site was very large and paved. Very good power, never dropped below 120V. Over 60 plus channels on cable. Good water pressure, etc... We loved this place!

The previous posts are pretty much on the mark. The camp sites are very close. We were not able to fully extend our awning. The power was very poor, 110 down to 108 at times. Our system shut off three times for weak power. Gravel pad but level. The grounds were very nicely kept and the staff was friendly. This is a ok overnighter, but not a destination...

This was our first visit. Two areas of concern. One, the camp site itself. We asked for full hookups when making our reservation. Upon arrival to the 1700 loop area we were told that we did not have cable because we did not ask for "A Premium site". ALL other campgrounds we have stayed at, full meant full. I also had asked for no shade so our roof mounted satellite would work, well, we got a shaded site with no cable. When asked to move, they said all were reserved. For unknown reasons, the pads are only HALF paved. The other half is Kokeana shell, the worst for tracking into your unit. The sewer hookup was in a small stainless steal type bowl. The sides were too high so you could not screw it in nor use a donut. Had to use heavy limb to hold it down. Our power never rose above 110 volts. Several times we noticed it stayed around 108 & 109 volts. VERY POOR for Disney. The spaces are very tight and separated by some brush. Yes, rent a $50 a day golf cart or ride your bike. Reservations are suggested on almost anything you may want to do. I was ready for the high prices but not being able to swim at the beautiful white sandy beach was not one of them. The pools were very over crowded and not properly chlorinated. The day after checking in we rode around the entire campground. Saw no less than 28 "premium" campsites available, oh well... After all being said, been there done that and won't be back!

As always, this campground is a wonderful place to stay. We would have given it a 10, but the road noise from US 301 didn't allow that to happen. As far as what is under the control of management, everything is perfect. From water pressure to stable 50amp service, no problems. This is a great short stay or overnighter. Not to sure about longer stays. The grounds are very well maintained and the pool is crystal clear. This was our 4th stay. We live about an hour away and stay here for "get away from our kids" weekend. We will be back!

This was our first visit to any State Park. The site was gravel and semi-level. The view was fantastic. We stayed right on the water. Roof mounted satellite worked great. 30 amp on power. Wife was told on phone when making reservations that it was 50 amp, oh well. Water pressure was great. Ants were terrible, this was our first for them as well. The office sold ant spray. The dump station is located on the way out with water for flush systems. Overall, this is a very nice park. If we come back to the Waycross area, we will stay again.

This is no longer a KOA. This was our third trip to this campground. The sites are paved and level. The electric hookup is great. Water pressure a little low. This park is very clean and well ran. The pool is sparkling clean. The staff are very friendly. This campground is about a mile off of I-10. No road noise! My wife nor I can really think of anything bad to say about this location. We will be back...

We camped here soley based on previous reviews from this web site. Based on what everyone said. Everything and everyone was great. The only exception was dust. As it has not rained for sometime, folks driving around made it very dusty (white powder dust). The kind that sticks to your vehicles. But, that was not the campground's fault. We would stay here again. The site was level, white gravel rock and a concrete patio area that even had a walk area from your door to the picnic table. They have shaded or un-shaded sites. We preferred the non-shaded for our satellite system. When asked, management even allowed me to wash the front end cap of the coach to get rid of our "Florida Love Bugs"...

We camped here based off this RV review web site. The campground is still under major construction. We were the only overnighters staying the weekend. The owners and their son were very nice. The campsite was concrete with full hook-ups excluding cable. My wife loved the farm animals wondering around. This campground is ok for no kids, children would get bored very quickly. We will come back when we need a good quite place to stay.

We camped here 3 nights. Overall the park is great. When all phases are complete, it will be considered a "small Disney World". Met the owners while checking out. They were very nice and accommodating. Our site was concrete pad with semi-shades and full hook-ups. Only one beef, when making reservation, I had requested no over hanging trees if possible. This was so we could use our roof-mounted Sat-dish. Our site had the over hanging trees thus we were not able to use our Satellite. We will stay here again. All the staff were very friendly.

Reading previous reviews is why we camped here. It was nice but not all that. Dirt roads and camp sites made our stay not as pleasant as it could have been. Speed limit of 5mph was not honored even by staff vehicles. This is what made it so dusty. We will not be back unless they can pave or put some rock down.
